Terms and Conditions
101Cats is free software - in the financial sense. The author developed it for his own use and, gradually, other FTdx101 owners became aware of it and requested copies. The author is pleased to make it available to anyone with an FTdx101 free of charge and free of any warranty.
101Cats interfaces with the radio solely via CAT commands issued through the serial port which the radio exposes over the USB interface. As such, there should be no risk of it causing damage to your radio provided Yaesu have made no mistakes in the implementation of the CAT command set. However, the author cannot accept any liability for damage to the radio caused by any command that 101Cats issues to it.
You may download 101Cats from this web site and install it on as many PCs as you wish for use with as many radios as you wish. You may give copies of the 101Cats installation program to others without explicit permission from the author. You should make anyone that you give 101Cats to aware of these terms and conditions.
101Cats is not Open Source software in the strict sense since the source repository in GitHub is not publicly accessible. The author currently does not wish to lose control of the software, but is pleased to make the source code available to interested parties on request. The source code is copyright Martin Bradford (G8FXC) and is subject to a BSD style licence.
